Danish Crown Horseshoe Gammon 5.8kg
This horseshoe gammon comes from the hind leg of the pig; the bone, slipper and oyster are removed before the joint is cured. We leave the rind on because this will continue to give the joint depth of flavour while it is simmering. If you prefer to roast your hams, simply remove the rind and some of the fat, score with a sharp knife and glaze with honey and whole grain mustard. For a more festive ham, stud the fat with whole cloves.
Approximate weight 5.8kg but may vary slightly. Cooked serves 20 – 25 people.
